This part of Drumming.com is a vehicle for altruism. It's main purpose is to highlight the many
needs of the world and feature organizations that provide assistance. We hope this will increase
awareness and promote involvement whether through physical or financial means.

St. Jude Banner

There is so much need in this world. The saddest part is that it doesn't have to be that way. With all the money and resources available to us, there should be no hunger, no poverty, no disease, no illiteracy, and no abuse. But sadly there is.

My mission is simple: I want to significantly help change the world for the better. While I have given to many organizations and have sponsored needy children through the years, it simply wasn't enough. I wanted to do more. So I created Drumming.org. The theme relates to my passion for drumming and it allows for an altruistic vehicle for the whole world to get involved.

We accept no monetary donations, but we do encourage your involvement in some way. Are you doing enough to give back to the world? Is what you're giving proportionate to what you've been blessed with in your life? If not, please consider doing more. I can't stress how good it makes you feel, not to mention the relief and joy that you bring into another's life. We owe this to those that are suffering.

Don't let the list of organizations intimidate you. Choose one that you most identify with and immerse yourself in it. Do it to the best of your ability; give money; donate time; motivate others; ...whatever it takes.
We can do this folks. It aint rocket science!

Why this Drumming.com page? - If everyone was doing enough, we wouldn't need to be reminded that the need is so great. And a little prodding never hurts does it? We're all busy, but we shouldn't be too busy to help others. This page provides a concise layout of philanthropic sites and gets right to the point.

How can I help?- It's simple:

  • Link to this page from your website.

  • Volunteer your time. There is always a great need for this.
  • Sponsor a child.
  • Sign up to be a driver for meals on wheels.
  • Become a big brother or big sister.
  • Make it a part of your daily routine to vocalize the need and tell family and friends.
  • Support/donate to one or more of the listed causes.
  • Start fund drives to support one of the causes.
  • Teach a child to read.
  • Start a blog or website about helping others.
  • Start a non-profit in support of a cause.
  • Be sure to talk about helping others in your favorite forum.
  • Start an activity at a local school for kids at risk.
  • Inspire others to get involved and be more proactive.
  • Start a business promoting good ethics, goodwill, and/or positive causes.
  • Include a link to Drumming.org in your e-mail or forum footers.
  • Visit operation lookout to see if you can identify any missing children.
  • Send in suggestions on how we can make Drumming.org better. All ideas are welcomed.
  • You can even volunteer your time to help build Drumming.org if you like.

What do you hope to gain from making this page? - We wish to raise awareness of the great need in the world in hopes that this will lead more people to give. We also hope to inspire others to be more proactive in getting people involved.

On 7-11-16, we transferred the content from Drumming.org over to this page on Drumming.com. The goal was to consolidate so that we could concentrate on one website instead of several. It doesn't devalue the importance of this mission. We are just as committed to drumming up support for a better world by any means necessary and we encourage your involvement. Please do what you can to help others.
